About Randy Jones

Randy Jones is an actor, writer/director based out of New York City. He began his career in public broadcasting as a video camera operator in 2001 and quickly branched off into acting. His first acting gigs were as crowd extras in a few major films, and TV commercials. Desiring more Randy turned his focus on acting and directing. As an actor he’s appeared in such films as “The Instant Messenger” 2011, “Big man the Conqueror” 2018 and “The Lone Ranger versus the Masked Bandit” 2023. These films have screened across the country.

Foregoing the traditional film school route, Randy began educating himself on all creative, technical, and business aspects of the process and never looked back. Randy transformed himself into a successful writer, director, filmmaker and producer.

In the fall of 2018, Mr. Jones made his feature length directorial debut with “Big man the Conqueror"   a superhero feature with Biblical overtones, which he also wrote and produced, eventually launching a highly successful social media campaign.

Seeing the state that the movie industry is in Randy, like so many other indie artist has realized one doesn’t need Hollywood any more, that with a solid website and social media you can create your own media empire.
